[SPAM] BlogSpam WTF??!?!!?
My SFMOMA posting had a comment that was spam. Won't those spamming motherfuckers leave us alone?
WE DON'T WANT YOUR SHIT GO AWAY!
Or at least make it humorous so I can post it here and make fun of it.

I'm going to add 'blog spam' to my running list of evidence that we are currently living in a nightmarish dark age of human discourse (although that should be obvious to anyone not of the blind ignorant masses...)
Also, did it ever occur to any of the marketing and advertising types out there (to which the late, great Bill Hicks rightfully invited you to just kill yourself) that more advertisement has become less effective? There is a critical mass of mindshare for a product, service, brand, etc., but we've gotten to the point where there are few places in public life that are not riddled with ads.
Also, did it occur to anyone in that group that most of the things in life worth buying need almost no advertisement at all? Worthwhile goods practically sell themselves. Nevermind that more stuff has never guaranteed a happy life, and in fact, more stuff often just brings with it more stress.
Also, did it occur to anyone in that group that our nation is broke and that we have a 0.0% overall savings rate right now? (oh wait, maybe advertising is effective then...) and that without any 'rainy-day' funds, when the economy goes to hell (which I firmly suspect it is about to), this country will be all but bankrupt and no one will be able to afford your crappy products and pointless services.
The sheer wastefulness and inefficiency of modern Western life (my own included) is galling, and I live like a damn pauper in comparison to many Americans.
There is a reckoning coming for all this mess, and we are ill prepared to pay the bill. Also, you've helped educate a generation media savvy enough to just tune out most of the 'buzzes like a fridge' of marketporn, even if it leaves an annoying ringing in the ears and stinging (singeing? of the) eyes.
