[Question] IT, PS2, and working at the liberry

How can I play connect my PS2 to my weaponized laptop? I could use some GTA at the liberry.

You could install a PS2 emulator, and assuming it can read those funky black discs PlayStations use, you could probably do it.

Here are a few.

I considered that but I want to play my saved games on my computer and tv. AND I want to use the controller. I tried to read techno lit about using a laptop as a monitor for PS2, but I couldn't get very far through the dense fog. I decided to turn to the experts. From what I understood there is a way, but I didn't get it.

You'll need a video capture device (a piece of hardware that takes video inputs from a tv or camcorder and turns it into an input for the laptop via USB connection). Would run you about $70, maybe. With it you could just run your PlayStation normally and then set the laptop to show whatever is currently being input through the vid signal. A vid capture device would also have audio inputs so you could use the speakers or headphone jack on the laptop for sound.

This or this would probably do the trick.
